PRODUX

Shopper analytics at the shelf

Which product they pick up, and which one nobody even looks at

Your system knows what sold. What nobody tells you is which product the customer picked up, looked at for thirty seconds and put back on the shelf. PRODUX measures that physical interaction with the product, and makes the screen beside it respond on the spot.

The gap it fills

Everything interesting happens between the display and the receipt

A sale tells you the end of the story. The beginning — what caught the eye, what was picked up, what was compared and what was rejected — stays on the sales floor and nobody records it. That is where the sale is decided, and it is precisely the stretch no system measures.

  • The magnet that does not sellEverybody picks it up, nobody buys it. It could be the price, the description, or that the piece disappoints in the hand.
  • The invisible one that does sellAlmost nobody touches it, but whoever does buys it. It is badly displayed and you are leaving money on the table.
  • The flatly ignored oneNeither picked up nor sold. That is not a display problem, it is an assortment problem.
  • The comparisonWhich two pieces get picked up one after the other. That shows you who your product actually competes with.

How it works

The fixture is instrumented, the store is not watched

PRODUX uses no cameras: the sensor sits in the fixture and detects the item, not the person.

Sensors in the display

NFC or RFID tags on each item and readers in the window, the case or the table. The system knows which item was picked up, when, and how long it was away from its place.

The screen responds

When the item is lifted, the screen beside it tells its story: material, origin, certificate, price, the video of how it was made. This is what the industry calls a "lift & learn" experience.

And all of it is measured

Every pick-up is a record. Matched against your point of sale, it tells you which interaction ended in a receipt and which did not — product by product, not by category.

Lift & learn

The item in the hand is worth more than any brochure

A customer already holding the product is at their moment of highest intent. Telling them what they need to know right then — without hunting for a salesperson or pulling out their phone — is the difference between putting it back and carrying it to the register.

  • The full spec instantly: what a salesperson would take minutes to explain, on the screen and with no queue.
  • No app and no QR code: the trigger is lifting the item, not the customer’s goodwill.
  • Your own content: the same content you already manage for your screens.
  • It works on its own: particularly useful at peak hours, when no salesperson is free.

What gets measured

Three axes, and almost nobody cross-references the third

The value is not in the isolated figure but in the cross-reference: the same item behaves differently on a rainy Saturday than on a payday Tuesday.

Product

Pick-ups, time in the hand, order of comparison and conversion to a sale. Per item and per display.

Messaging

Which content was shown when the item was lifted, and whether that version converted better than the other. You can run A against B.

Context

Weather, holidays, payday and footfall. The context that explains why the same product behaved differently this week.

If you also want the shopper axis — how many people came in, how long they spent in the zone, age range — that comes from ANALITIX, which has its own privacy design. PRODUX on its own does not see people: its sensors read the item.

What you see

A dashboard, and decisions that fit in one sentence

The dashboard is available all the time, but the point is not for you to live inside it — the point is that the conclusion reaches you. "Ring 3402 was picked up 61 times and sold twice" is a sentence that changes a display the same day.

  • 24/7 dashboardInteraction per item, per display and per hour, with history to compare against.
  • CSV exportSo your analyst can cross it with whatever they like, without asking our permission.
  • Automatic actionsChange the screen, send an email or alert the floor when something crosses a threshold.
  • And what actually mattersThe short list of items to move, reprice or drop from the assortment.

Where it pays off

High-value product, long decision

PRODUX pays for itself where the ticket is high and the customer takes their time deciding.

Jewelry

A case of rings and high-value pieces, where every pick-up is real buying intent.

Electronics

Heavily compared products, explained through specifications nobody wants to read off a label.

Cosmetics and personal care

A shelf full of near-identical variants, where the packaging decides.

Optical

Frames get tried on before they are bought: picking one up is the first step of the process.

Wine and spirits

A bottle gets picked up, turned around and read. That is where it is won or lost.

Showroom and display floor

A display floor where the product is handled but not taken away.

It does not work alone

It is the shelf-level piece of a system you already have

PRODUX closes the finest level of measurement: the individual item. Above it, ANALITIX measures the whole floor and DISPLAX puts the content on the screens. All three write to the same place, and the ERP ties it all to the actual sale.

  • With DISPLAXThe screens that react when an item is lifted are the same ones you already manage for your channel. See DISPLAX →
  • With ANALITIXThe sales floor, the zones and the shopper axis. PRODUX contributes the item-level detail. See ANALITIX →
  • With your ERPThe sale, the stock and the price come from your own system, not a separate database.
  • With traceabilityIf your items already carry an NFC tag per serial number, the same chip measures the interaction.

How it gets deployed

We start with one fixture, not the whole store

It is the sensible way: instrument one case, measure for a month, then decide with data whether extending it is worth it.

Site visit and choosing the fixture

Which display holds the highest-value, most-compared product. The written scope comes out of that.

Instrumentation

Tagging the items, readers in the fixture, screen and networking. We install it ourselves, in your store.

Calibration

How long counts as real interest, which content each item triggers and which thresholds raise an alert.

Reading the first month

We go through the first month of data together and come out with the list of changes to the display.

What it takes

One case, its tags and a screen

No construction and no new furniture. If your items are already serialized or tagged, much of the work is already done.
